Brevard Rescue Mission was overwhelmed and incredibly blessed by the generosity shown by the congregation of Georgianna United Methodist Church on Merritt Island.
Pastor Corky Calhoun and the church leadership designated Brevard Rescue Mission as one of four organizations and ministries to receive gifts through their Simple Christmas project. Church members were encouraged to take the focus off of elaborate Christmas gift-giving by spending more time with family and friends while focusing on the birth of Christ and redirecting resources to causes that make a difference in the community.
BRM is further blessed by the many Georgianna members who are very involved as volunteers. This is a gift too valuable to measure and blesses our residents and staff throughout the year!
